The scope for me is solved because my buddy within the industry is providing me a nicer vortex, so for the meantime all my budget can go to the rifle.
I was wondering when someone is going to mention Fierce. That’s where that same buddy is nudging me towards. I just get nervous because all of the bad stuff they went through. Have you continued to here bad things about their quality?
I have 3 fierce, 2 carbon Rogues and a Mtn Reaper. Every single one of them is phenomenal. I’ve called in to customer service on 2 occasions with questions, and they have been nothing but nice, and very responsive. John Mogle even emailed me back directly on a Sunday afternoon, when I submitted a question on their website. Not sure where some of the negative comments come from with Fierce, but I am a huge fan, and will keep buying and recommending their rifles to everyone.
Seekins just redid their line with the PH3. 60 degree bolt throw. ability to change barrels and calibers without a gunsmith. Great stocks that are interchangeable with the Seekins. Did not increase the price. Basically a PH3 is $1800.00. However The PH2 is on closeout everywhere for about $200 off so around $1600. I was talking to Glen Seekins (Owner) and asked is the new PH3 going to be more accurate? He said no the PH2 and PH3 will be equal in accuracy. My Seekins are .5MOA. The Fierce are as accurate and the Fierce Rogue is around $2K.
I’ve had the SAKO S20 for a bit now and it blows everything else away. If you’re spending $1800usd on the rifle alone I personally wouldn’t go any other way.
I get that totally, buy what is pleasing to your eye and gives you performance. I love the HS Precision older tactical stocks, but others don’t. Don’t let us push you somewhere, we are all just throwing options based on cost, good reviews, and experience with the ones we own. I have not seen a recommendation made I wouldn’t buy or have confidence in, but in the end what makes me feel the best up to me.
