Jim/Garret,
Have either of you noticed any feeding issues using the 6 dasher? It seems like I had read they struggled feeding reliably because of the shoulder, but curious how that’s been throughout real world testing?

@backfire Jim in the rifle accuracy database video, I noticed that your Sig Cross has a new stainless steel barrel.
Can you provide some details on that barrel since it appears to be giving you good results?
We haven’t had feeding issues. Just had to bed the feed lips on the mag and it’s been great since.
That’s just the factory barrel from our sig cross.
6mm dasher hunting model-So what’s the whole package and rough cost of as it’s built, the one that Garret went 10/11 on the ballon’s out to a 1000. Like what’s the barrel, action, trigger, stock, scope, and total weight etc… as that is one sweet looking rifle!
I was curious about that too
Blah blah blah… ok SIG Cross… let’s hear about the real rifle in the room! 6mm dasher!
NGL, that 6 Dasher is printing some pretty sexy groups! I’m going to have a hard time deciding between the 6 CM, 6 Dasher, or 6 GT for my next rifle build.
Great job with the video.
I see the YouTube statistics experts showed up to complain.
I don’t know how to make them happy. If you are a believer in small shot size groups, because it’s a hunting rifle and only the first couple of rounds count, you gave them the data. If you believe in only large sample size groups, because that’s what Hornady says, you gave them the data. If you believe in mean radius because it better represents the whole data set, you gave it to them. Just care about how close it is to the point of aim? You gave them the data.
Also, good job shooting that Dasher Garrett
Did fierce opt out of the test? I was curious how your reaper and their other rifles would stack up.
I didn’t have the powder I needed to test the reaper with my handload but I am hoping to add that one soon.
