Go online, look for the hornady black 155 or 168 amax. Bauer’s out of texas or target sports usually has them from anywhere between 27.00 to 32.00 per box. Have been shooting and handloading these two bullets going on 20 years and shoot the majority of deer each season with one or the other. Great deer bullet. The federal blue box (their cheapest) in the 150 or 180 softpoint is also a great deer slayer. If you are gonna just shoot target with the 308 the federal 168 bthp or 175 bthp are always good and consistent options.

Yes, but everything is rifle dependent; but the 155 amax and 168 amax black has worked well for me in multiple 308 rifles, including a begara 14.

I posted my 6.5prc reloading dope on here a while back. I shoot it in a Seekins Slam and get 1/2" MOA, with a SD of 5.5 and 2881fps average for 6 shots.
