Jim, I’m curious if you plan to do a cartridge comparison between these two. They seems to have quite the overlap, but has the 22 Creedmor surpassed it in your mind? Anyone have thoughts on this?

I can’t see a compelling reason to still choose 22-250 UNLESS availability of the gun is an issue. Unfortunately we don’t have cheap rifle options yet for 22 creedmoor.
But ballistically, it’s flatter, harder hitting, less wind drift, and very similar recoil.

Your analysis is what I was thinking, but wasn’t sure about. I see a lot of chatter on rebarrelling to the 22 Creedmor, has anyone here done this ?

One thing to consider is the application…If you are primarily hunting to save the the fur the 22-250 with something like a 50 grain v-max is a much better option than the 60-90gr hot rods in the 22 creed.
