25 creedmoor build

So I’m going to build my first custom rifle… and going to go with a 25 creedmoor, I’m not worried about barrel length as more about best length for the cartridge. I’m considering going with a 24” bsf carbon fiber barrel, as the 2 I current have with factory rifles flat out shoot!

So what’s your all’s opinion on best length to maximize the most out of the cartridge in general

I seen a number of excellent 24” builds. Also a few 22” that were really nice.

What’s your intended use? Range gun? Hunting out to what range?

Mainly hunting, but I hunt in wide open spaces where total length is not an issue, going to try to keep it a 7lb gun. But want to get the most out of the cartridge for speed and energy, with the use of heavier bullets….
