6.5x55 Sweedish Mauser cartridge?

I’m curious what folks think of the 6.5x55 Sweede cartridge…
Looking at the balistics, it looks nearly identical to the 6.5 creedmore.
I’m doing a custom build on a vz24 mauser action and while I like the 6.5 creedmore, there is something about the 6.5x55 Sweede that seem appropriate in this case without giving anything up.
Just looking for some opinions.
Thanks!

I’ve heard it is a great cartridge but have no experience with it. I guess it comes down to you and what you want. How hard will it be to get ammo or brass for reloading? I say go for it! I love trying new cartridges.

Yeah, pretty similar to the creed. If you’re a Reloader to make the ammo, I think it’d be a fun gun.

Thanks for the input.
Interestingly, the brass is quite available and I reload. Brass availability is probably due to its popularity in Europe.
I think keeping the Mauser ‘pure’ with the 6.5 sweede cartridge just feels right.
I’ll let you guys know how it comes out.

One of my father’s favorite cartridges. I am constantly reminded of how the new stuff does not have anything on the old stuff - I would be nice to have the Mauser in that and make a good deer rifle.
