its an awesome cartridge, I just dont like any of the factory rifles chambered with it. i think building it is the way to go. i have been looking for a tikka prefit barrel to convert one of my rifles to 6.8 western, but no dice so far, i see plenty of 7 backcountry, prc, creedmoor, some 6 mm cartridges, but wheres the 6.8 western?? lol I wish i had a metal lathe so i could turn barrels. UR just showed one that only runs around $8k, but. im thinking i’ll make that money back fairly quick.
