This seems to be a very polarizing subject but since you asked, I’ll say what I, personally, would do.

The Hornady guys mentioned that they don’t test the match bullets for consistent expansion and their only focus is on accuracy. They mentioned that the eldx have almost the same accuracy. They design and test for expansion.

To me, I don’t get to hunt much so I will take every advantage to minimize wounding an animal because my shot placement was a little off for lots of reasons. For those reasons, I believe a hunting bullet is more forgiving and what I’ll always use.
