You uploaded the ruger American video for the 7mm08 video
Ditto, was just going to post on that
Were fixing that Now, sorry about that
Glad to see the 7mm-08 get some love.
Sorry to see that that Fierce isn’t giving you the accuracy that you deserve for that price point. Which Barnes bullet did you use?
I got my first 7-08 in 2002 and have killed more deer than I can count with it using a 120 ttsx. I loaned that rifle out to one of my best friends twice, and both of his teenage Sons took their first ever rifle deer with that gun. One at 300 yards which is really pushing the envelope for that 120 ttsx. But it’s super rare to see anything more than 300 yards around here unless you’re either hunting on a power line or traveling to another part of the state/country.
In December, my teenage son took a pronghorn facing straight at him at 315yds with 7-08 using 120ttsx load light for kids’ recoil. Muzzle velocity is only 2700. Bullet went in through neck, through the chest, broke 4 ribs on its way through the body cavity and eventually came to rest in hind quarter. Bullet performed exactly as expected/hoped. It was an adult Colorado doe pronghorn and was about 3 inches from going completely through neck to butt cheek.
