7mm RM updating?

i would like to hear some thoughts on my savage 110 7mmRM updating.im thinking of doing a rebarrel. it did shoot well has a timney trigger bell and carlson stock 24 inch barrel with a custom radial brake and running a vortex viper 6.5 20 x 50…it had been so reliable till i found out during an elk hunt at 5 degrees it said it wanted to get back in the truck.ended up being a headspace issue but i parked her in the safe till i decide how she emerges with updated barrel? anyway i have in the past few years since bought a savage long range hunter in 300 prc and a christensen mpr in 7 prc…and have an old 30-06 remington that is close to perfect in stock form.so back to my old favorite…7mm RM and being a savage…who makes a great barrel with a twist rate that would allow a heavier grain bullet or what do you all suggest.i listed other rifles so people would know i do have calibers that are in range of this 7rm and may effect suggestions.and tossing the savage is not an option from you diehard rem action fans lol…im 60 years old and it belonged to my dad till 15 years ago. he is still around thank God but cannot hunt due to loss of sight.

I would call Preferred Barrel Blanks about this project. They do all kinds of custom work and do a good job. Good people over there. I don’t think you’d have trouble getting a fast twist 7 mag.
