Right now at Eurooptic, the “capped turret” /non-CDS version of the VX 5HD 2-10x42 is on sale for $649. That’s a great price for their “Pro-grade” glass. Guessing they are clearing out this model from their stock. I assume the FireDot/CDS one is much more popular, but if you don’t care about those features and just want something that is both simple and beautiful, it’s hard to beat.
