Over the weekend I finally got around to sandblast the factory rock rails, aftermarket running boards and mounting hardware for my Gladiator. For about $130 for everything I needed at Harbor Freight I was proud of myself. Then about 10 minutes in I realized I had a problem. My little 8 gallon 1/3 horse compressor was producing more condensation in the line than air. So, yesterday I picked up a 27 gallon 1.6 hp compressor and had everything done within 2-3 hours. The downside is I told myself that meant my T3X enhancements will be delayed because I still need to get a handful of things for my September muley misadventure with the recurve in Idaho. On the positive, I can tinker with a few budget T3X accessories and take it with me for bear adventures if I tag out early and I can still grab a CO OTC rifle tag if I want to get more time in the mountains.
How do you like the gladiator? I went and looked at one on the lot last week. They look cool.
I really like it. If it had 2 extra cylinders and less tech it would’ve almost perfect.
