Advice Sought on a Sako AV in 25-06 Remington

My local gun shop has a Sako AV 25-06 selling for 900. I’ve shot Tikka T3X in 6.5 Creedmoor, and love that rifle and cartridge combination. Anyone out there have experience with the older Sako AV series, and recommendations on this rifle in 25-06?

I found out the Sako AV existed about 10 seconds ago when I read your post :grinning: Would be interesting to see if the old ones are as good as the new Sako stuff, but I’m sorry, I have no info here.

Same as Jim, never heard of AV until now.

I did own an 85 on 25-06 and it was excellent. Many a day I wish I had not sold that one.
