Does Aero make the fluted steel barrels, or someone else?
There’s lots of options out there, Shaw barrels is a source in that $300+/- range, I’ve seen barrels on optics plants pre-fit ready to go. Just need a little google time and you can find anything you need
I ordered the Solus with a 6.5CM barrel. When it comes I’ll let you know.

I originally ordered a lightweight.478 short action… then this sale happened… I started doing the math… running the numbers.. and was like hmmm $800 plus for a new carbon fiber barrel. And I was into $740 for just the action…So I call Aero and they were great about canceling and redoing my order.
I thought well I guess I’m getting a 7prc to go with my 6.5 prc…. And bought the proof research 7prc barreled action for just over $1300… have a Grayboe Trekker stock coming for it, ($269), and a timney hunter elite trigger at $108… so basically I’ll have a lightweight custom gun for $1800. And if Jim is right and the 25 prc becomes a thing in the future… well my current prc just might get rebarreled
Fyi - Zermatt Arms Origin and Aero precision solas use the same barrel thread and are compatible.
