I’m planning to got to the range soon, which isn’t close by. So, I’ve heard that changing powders can affect SD and ES. Example: shoot a group of varget then shoot group with tac and the tac’s numbers are horrible. Should I clean the barrel, just run a dry patch or two or don’t worry about it?
You won’t have any need to clean between testing loads with different powders. Only time that’d be needed is testing copper and lead bullets. Good to clean between those.
Just be sure you’re shooting enough rounds of each configuration to get a statistically significant result. Don’t base your result off a single 5-shot group or you’ll chase your tail for days.
