So I was experimenting with my Frankford hand primer and adjusting seating depth to about .003-.004. Now I have 5 primed cases that have not been sized (waiting on dies). Can I push these back out using my lyman decapping die or do I need to cycle them through the rifle to fire them off first? I am not sure if it is a one way or either way scenario and I don’t want to damage my press.
I would think that just shooting the primer in the gun would be the safest option, but I have reprised with my press without issue. I’d wear ear pro and eye protection just in case.
