I was down at my local Sportsman’s Warehouse. I was there getting some defensive 9mm ammo, as I load factory ammo in my carry guns. They had a Springfield Waypoint on the rack. First time I had every seen one in the wild. So of course, I had to check that out. Then I noticed the Winchester XPR Renegade Long Range. That particular example was in 6.5 PRC. I have seen the XPR, but was unfamiliar with this version. It sports a more modern stock line with a vertical grip and threaded muzzle. It’s a little chunky though, at 8 lbs 8 oz. Anyone have experience with the Renegade Long Range? Thoughts?
I haven’t shot that variant of the XPR but I like the looks of that stock. My XPR shoots okay but not great.
