Anyone tried the Sako 90 Adventure?

Just curious if anyone has had a chance to try out the Sako 90 Adventure? It’s currently around $2,600 and seems like it might fill the price gap between the S20 and 90 Quest, but I’m just not finding a lot of info on it or seeing some sort of comparison about what it might give you for the higher price over an S20.

Got one in .308, will let you know when it arrives

I’m going to have to double check the muzzle thread for this gun. The Sako website has it listed as a M15x1, but every other website and the gun dealer where I had a chance to look at it in person had it listed at 5/8x24.

I had heard somewhere that the ones they are importing to the US have the 5/8 thread.

But please check and definitely keep us posted.

If I ever decide to get back into 30-06, this almost certainly would be the top contender.

I haven’t tried that one. Just the Quest that is fantastic.

Jim, have you only tried the Quest in 300 Win Mag? I’ve decided the Quest is my next rifle, having a hard time deciding between 30-06 and 7mm Rem Mag. I’ve shot 30-06 my whole life, I’m no longer 30 years old and want something I can shoot comfortably and with confidence. A Quest in 30-06 and a suppressor is what I’m leaning toward, shooting Powerhead Blade rounds.

I’m in Montana, most of my usage is for elk, some mulies and white tails and occasional antelope.

I have the 90 Quest in .300 WM and I was having the same issue when ordering my muzzle brake. I ordered a brake in 5/8x24 and it fits perfect.
