Has anyone used this stock before? Stocky's NextGen Ultra Carbon™ Hunter VG (Vertical Grip) Composite Accublock® Stocks - Tikka T3/T3x
The blank carbon one is on sale for $410 before tax and what not. If I got this one, I would have it painted locally by a company I trust to make it look sick.
Trying to decide between this and the IOTA EKO Tikka stock.
Never had a Stocky stock so I am not sure if that is a killer deal or not or should they be avoided?
Any thoughts would be super helpful. Thank you so much.
I have 2 vertical grip for T3x builds and I like them. They are light and stiff. Depending on which bottom metal you go with they can be a little tricky to fit in. But overall they’re solid. Also, I would shoot and then check the action screw torque for the first few sessions.
@brendangleach Thank you so much. Do you know if like the MTN tactical recoil lug will fit in it? Or is the one on the stocky stock good enough? The one it comes with?
So at $410 for a carbon blank. Would that be a no brainer for you?
Also, what length of barrel do you have in there on them and what contour is the barrel?

It should fit. I haven’t tried it myself though. I just used the one that came with it. Or the Ti one from OMR. The barrels are 22 and 20”. They’re mcgowen #3 contour. It’s a bit thicker and heavier than the factory barrel. They’re accurate though. I really like the stock. I think it’s a good deal.
