Arken EPL 4-16 for Hunting Scope

Hey considering going for the Arken EPL 4-16 as a hunting scope for more of a budget setup. Was wondering if anyone has experience with them in a hunting setting? It got my attention as its only an ounce or two heavier than the Vortex Razor LHT.

I’ve got an EP-5 on a 22 for competition and been very surprised at how well it hangs with the Kahles I have on another rifle but haven’t been real rough on the 22.

I just got mine in the mail. Putting it on my 25-06 build for hunting so I guess I’ll find out.

They just sent me one to review, but I haven’t shot it yet.

Overall, I’m impressed with what Arken offers for the price.

I put an EPL6x24x50 on Daniel Defense M4 V7 Pro for my Coyote rifle. It is .5 MOA got to be gun and optics. Great scope for the money

By the way Jim, I really enjoy the way you review products. I bought my Fierce based on your reviews of the Rogue. FYI the box it came in said Rouge. I just got back into hunting after a 3 year hiatus, and have spent the equivalent of a small country’s economy in the last year. The company’s that have you review their products should be pleased because consumers like me listen to your expertise and buy based on your reviews. You need to come to Texas. This is what we are doing for game management. image
Theses are 3 year olds. We don’t shoot for another 2 years

Thanks for that kind comment.

And I guess I do need to go to Texas! Those are incredible!

That’s not hunting in Texas (born in Texas and love Texas). You want real hunting, first get a tag for AZ coues deer, then try to find a buck and try not to let that grey ghost disappear.

I have the Arken EPL 4-16 on my 22-250. I love it. Good glass, good turrets, zero stop, holds zero. I’ve dropped it on concrete with rifle attached twice and its not broke!
