Attaching Suppressor

My Banish 30 suppressor from Silencer Central finally showed up today, do you guys have any tips or tricks to do or watch for when mounting to gun for alignment etc? Don’t really wanna do something dumb after waiting for 10 months

You can purchase alignment rods from different manufacturers made specifically for your caliber rifle to make certain that the center of the bore is lined up with the center of the suppressor.

In terms of the actual attachment process, just take your time and make sure the threads are clean and stop if you look like you’re starting to cross thread and back off and start again.

Just thread it on to finger firmness and shoot that sucker! Nothing to worry about.

Oh, and every few rounds or so you should VERY CAREFULLY check to make sure it is staying tight and not unthreading.

They get quite hot! so be careful

Thanks for the input guys she now goes pew pew instead of bang bang lol

get a cover - it is not an exaggeration that they get hot. Like flesh meting hot - like grabbing a motorcycle exhaust pipe hot. plus it helps with mirage and supposedly even a bit quieter. I have only used on a bolt action - must really be smokin’ when on a semi auto. And you need a cover that wont melt. Don’t buy a $25 job that will melt into your can making you very unhappy. The ones at silencer central work and seem reasonably priced at $70
