Yeah, we have the bipods and will only sell them with the chassis.
And yes. Weight is slightly up in the air depending on the durability testing as we may need to beef up a part here or there, but definitely under 30oz. I want this thing to be bombproof though.

If you go to the backfiretv webpage they have a countdown to release.
I could be mistaken but I thought I read somewhere that it was going to be released to the public on that date but backfire plus members would get an early access. Not a huge deal I was just curious.

It was said that we get early access no daye set. Tikka and Rem 700 + clones first. Cant wait to drop my Tikka in one and looking forward to gettinga couple for my CVA’s

We are going to show a preview of it. First shipments are probably late March. Our guys are at the warehouse all day and all night getting this thing dialed in. We started at 4am today and there will probably still be somebody there at 8pm.

The overview video was great. As far as the Alien cropsaver attachment point. I have an idea that im going to try on my Backstop. Im going to make a metal piece to fit the triangle rubber coat (or cerakote) it and mount it, then im going to use the round magnet Magview makes for their digiscope system and mount it on the carbon fiber in the buttstock. Just to add a little help to keep the stock from swinging open.
If it works and you make something similar as an add on dont forget me.
Good thought. We’ve experimented a bit with magnets. Could work.
