I recently picked up the straight version of the 15-45x Ares G2 UHD spotting scope and I’m pretty impressed so far. Comparing it to my full size Vortex Razor spotter, the glass is very very close. Makes me glad I did some research before buying and saved a good chunk of money.
For that price range, how do you think it compares to Arken optics? I’ve seen tons of stuff on their optics being very good, especially for their price point. I dont have any personal experience with either. Was just curious if you could compare them, considering they both have a very similar price point.
I like Arken. They have very good industrial designs on the turrets which dresses them up. I am yet to see an Arken with top shelf glass but the functionality and price are good. I use them sometimes.
