So I have a Browning 300 Win Mag that I eventually want to put the Backstop on once it becomes available. Here is my dilemma, I currently hunt with it without the muzzle break, but eventually would like to get a suppressor for it. Do I order the Backstop with just the muzzle information, or wait until I get a suppressor and then order? Knowing the ATF it could take 6-12 months. Thoughts??
Good question. When you order, you can specify if you’ll sometimes use it with a muzzle device, and sometimes not. In this case, that’d give you our medium lattice structure which should still do nicely on your xbolt. It’ll still be a major step up from the factory pad without a muzzle device but when you get the silencer it’ll be perfect.
We almost always go to the softest you’ll need because we want to make sure the crush zone will always crush—even if it’s a bit too easily.

Thanks Jim,
I’ll make sure to make that note when I order, once you have the XBolt in production. I can’t wait to try it out. Such a great idea!
