Barnes Harvest ammo

Shot this out of my 6.5prc Fierce carbon rogue today, and WOW. This is the best factory ammo I have shot, ands down. 2760 out of an 18” barrel, and my worst group was about .70 with an sd of 12. Interesting this is coming from Barnes, since it is a sierra tipped game king bullet and Norma brass. Highly recommend trying it, especially for the price!

Good stuff! I’ve been debating trying some in a 7 Rem Mag.

I’m partial obviously, but I’d say it’s definitely worth a try

I haven’t watched it yet, but today’s podcast from them is all about this line of ammo.

Great results! I’ll pick up some boxes when I see it. I like the price.

Great info. Your gun definitely likes it. I would like to see what the ES/SD is on about 20 shots. Thanks for the post. Might have to pick some up. What was the cost/box?

39.99 per box on rivertownmunitions.com for 6.5prc. I’ll shoot some more of it and post results once I get my can back. My scythe ti blew in half right at the weld, last week.

Ouch!!

Guess there may be something to all of those rockslide reports.

Was a huge bummer for sure. That suppressor is only a few months old. No baffle strike or anything, just a clean break. Blew about 75 yards down range

I take it they are just gonna give you a brand new can?

On a recent shoot to hunt podcast, they had the owner of silencer shop on and asked him about this particular model and reports of failures. He said he had not heard of any, or at least not more than any other can.

Sorry to hear about the can :frowning:

I was really hyped on the Scythe TI, but they’ve gotta get their welding figured out. Hope they take care of replacing or repairing it for you. The reported failure rate spooked me enough to go with a Nomad TI XC.

Sorry to hear about your suppressor. I have a Scythe TI also. I haven’t shot much thru it so hope its a good one. Good to know if I do have a problem I will not be alone.

I think they intend to repair it, not replace it, but I’ll report back. I will say that their CS has been great to deal with, with the exception of shipping. They didn’t send a prepaid shipping label, which I found lame. So with insurance and packaging everything, I paid $48 to ship it back. Seemed sort of petty to me on their part. Fierce paid for everything, re barreled my 7mm rifle and had it back to me in 2 weeks, when I had an issue w my new rifle. So to me, fierce is the gold standard in CS, despite what I’ve read online from some others. I also think some people love to complain though. I’ve emailed and called fierce several times, and they always reply and are so nice.
