Barrel threading & Cerakote recommendation

I’m getting ready to thread the barrel and cerakote my Tikka T3 7mm-08. I need some recommendations on who to trust to do this for me. Thanks in advance!

Not sure about the cerakote, but silencer Central does a superb job threading muzzles and is pretty cheap.

I have heard that the T3 light has too small of a diameter to be safely threaded. If you have a CTR you should be good to go. There is a company called twisted barrell that does some amazing cerakote, threading and fluting. Big with the Bergara crowd. https://twistedbarrel.com/

It’s a T3x Hunter so hopefully it can be threaded. This whole suppressor rabbit hole could get very expensive… but it’s so much fun. Thanks for the help!

You may find it easier to pick up another rifle that is already threaded, the Tikka Ember is appealing and not to expensive for what you get.

Not sure where you live, but if you are in northern Colorado (along the I-25 corridor) I can get you the contact info for the gunsmith who just threaded my childrens’ Weatherby Camilla 7mm-08, built & painted a muzzlebreak for it, and installed an Element Scope that I bought site unseen based on something I heard Jim talk about on a podcast or the Backfire Youtube channel.

Ok I’m not sure where you are located but even if you need to ship the rifle. There’s probably nobody I’d trust more than Desert Predator Custom in Cedar Utah. They do both threading and cerakote. Ive never seen a custom gunsmith take the care to make sure things are done right Blaine dose over there.

Just to update this. silencer central threaded for me. They had to do 1/2-28 due to the thin tikka barrel but that’s easy enough to solve with a thread adaptor
