Looking for advice on barrel contours and brands, looking for heavier contour that’s still light enough for hunting but can handle longer strings of fire when target shooting and everything in between?
Ace barrels out of Spokane WA, is the company Unknown Munitions sources there barrels from, which I’ve heard great things. But Also proof research offers both steel and carbon fiber. And a company that still very relevant, that no one talks about anymore is Benchmark barrels

Yea my local gunsmith uses them, I’ve been looking at the titanium sleeved barrel from SHAW too.
I was looking at the Shaw barrels, but got scared off by the reviews on a lot of forums that the barrels are high maintenance and need to be stripped clean every 20 rounds or so

Also a quiet company that I haven’t found any bad press on is Crownridge Barrel Works, lots of praises on the long range forums w/quick turnarounds
