or deer. I have a Ruger American Ranch in 300 AAC on its way. And my Banish 30 will be here this week. And sub-sonics are here soon as well. Should be hollywood quiet as in Jim’s video with his cva single shot.
16.12 in barrel with 7 or 9 “ suppressor should be a pretty compact package. I expect it will be quieter than my bow? Am I too optimistic?

Adding - what is a good scope power? I have
VXIII 2.5x8 x36. no turrets
Diamond back 4x12 tactical. turrets
Burris 3x9 x40 no turrets
These are scopes I could repurpose off of other rifles.
Leaning towards the leupold for a 200 yd rifle.

Looks like a fun setup! That Leupold should do the trick well.

Do some research on subsonic bullets before you commit to one. I’ve heard many reports of sub-par sub-sonic bullets that don’t reliably expand.

Good idea. My first boxes are stuff from PSA. Mainly just for playing around right now. I won’t be sighted in this year for deer hunting.

Internet rumors have said that the Hornady subsonic loads will actually expand and penetrate well.

No personal or scientific data to back that up however.

I could not find 5 rnd p mags to use for hunting. I put in the -5 inserts from magpul in the 10 rnd mag. Feeding with that is horrible. Like cannot feed first round. If I load with 4 is it ok and 3 or less works. Some ammo better than others. I found the promag with roller follower. Works well and they came in a 5 rd version. Also FDE to match the rifle stock which looks better.
Also watched a tube where the guy tested several ranges for zero and it turns out for subs that 11 and 100 are basically the same zero pt and better top to bottom differential than 50 yds.
