Bear Creek Arsenal?

Hi curious if anyone has bought any AR fully completed AR uppers from Bear Creek Arsenal? I see they have a 22 creedmoor AR complete uppers available… thought it might be fun to try out and throw on the old gun… just curious if a complete waste of money, or works oks not the best, or a good deal? As I know in life you get what you pay for… but kicking around a 22 creedmoor, 243, or a 7mm-08 upper

They are known as being ultra cheap. I have one of their completed rifles and it functions great, but haven’t tried accuracy.

I have a BCA AR15 in 350 Legend with a 4X Leupold on top that shoots factory or hand loads at or better than 1.5 MOA consistently.

I have used quite a few black uppers for builds

What I have found is that the components are generally good, but the assembly is where I usually find issues. So I take them apart and reassemble torque to spec etc. I test fire them first and of accuracy is acceptable I may not take it all the way down . I had one 308 upper I bought for a builds for my brother in law that shot close to 1moa with Belgian surplus. I didn’t touch that one, but I’ve had some that iv had to lap the reciever to get them to shoot decent

I feel like they are a little hit and miss. My little brother got a 223 rifle and a 22lr upper. The 223 shot good enough for plinking. The 22lr had an 18” group at 20 yards. Probably just a lemon but worth noting

I have bought several uppers from them over the years. I did have a problem with one. I sent it back and they fixed it and shipped it back, and have not had any issues since. I have both rifle and pistol length. 556, 300 blk, 6.5 gren, 350 legend, 308 win.

My experience with their customer service has been outstanding

I received an email from them today and they now have a BC-8 in big boy calibers. The bolt action 300 Win Mag interests me. It comes with a 24” barrel and break. I have asked them if they would put their 26” on it especially if it is a heavy barrel.
