Bench 300lbs by 40

I just saw the video. Are you going to do it?

Mad respect, man. I got to 295lbs but couldnt break that three bills.

Let me tell you though, it’s not impossible. I watched a 170lbs fella do it while me, being.6’ 270 of 200mg/week of.testosterone, couldnt.

Eat, practice technique, and dont over train… you.got this!

Im 47 now, but maybe ill giver a go with you!
Flex off at the start of hunting season? LOL

What video I feel like I’m missing something

Elk.huntig video. Was a paid ad for some.protein cereal.
He mentioned he wants to do it.

@backfire

The thought of trying to do this now makes my arms want to fall off…lol. I’ve got pretty bad arthritis in my shoulders from lifting heavy from 15 to 40 yrs old. When I was young and dumb, trying to reach a max of 400lbs was the worst idea I ever had.

One day in the gym in 2006, I was warming up with a couple sets of 225 and heard a crack then my arm went numb. I fractured the head of the humerus in my right arm. To this day I don’t remember racking the barbell or getting in the car to drive home.

I’m working at it every week. I’m benching two days a week and doing pushups another day. Then my other lifts the other days. Hope I can make it.

Getr done my boy!

Well… did you make it? I did the same for 500. Took me a year to go from 315 to 505. A lot of hard work. The way you lift is different. You can be stronger than you look for sure. I have a friend that has done over 700 and you wouldn’t think it by looking at him. Good Luck and be carful.

I still have 7 months. I turn 40 in March. I made awesome progress but lost my rhythm over the summer. Started back at it last week so I got a ways to go.

Train for max lift. Don’t overtrain and feed yourself quality food. You can get there!

I am with you on this Steve. I am not a big guy 6 ft 1 in if I stretch my neck a bit with long arms and chicken legs. In college I could bench 265 weighing 160. I continued to workout into my late 30s until my shoulder and pecks started bothering me and I would injure one or the other and have to stop due to pain. When my back went bad in my early 40’s I stopped lifting all together. Life is short. So now I limit my activity so as not to affect my hunting seasons. Stopped playing basketball, as a turned ankle just isn’t worth it. Tore my rotator cuff and could not longer hold my bow back, so stopped lifting and playing softball as swinging a bat was not pleasant. Those of you still at it,…best of luck and stay healthy!
