Bergara B14R Weight Distribution

Good Saturday morning everyone!

I’m running a B14R in PRS22 Production class. The balance of the rifle is extremely butt heavy. Even with the extra furniture I have under the front it’s still back heavy. I’m looking to add some weight to the front of the barrel.

Any recommendations?

I was looking into AR 15 barrel shrouds. This one comes in at 6oz and adds 1.5” to the length of the barrel.

How important is rifle balance to shot placement? Can you please elaborate a little on why you need front to rear balance ?
