Bergera Divide not feeding

I’m really happy with my new divide, but I am experiencing an occasional problem with feeding. After every 2-4 shots, there is no cartridge in the chamber after I return the bolt to the forward position.

I feel like the magazine isn’t creating enough tension to push the next round high enough for the bolt to grab it. When I push up with my hand on the bottom of the magazine it feeds perfectly. Anyone else experience this or have any suggestions? New magazine? Im not tilting the rifle. I tried five different factory loads to see if it was related to ammo. It happened with all of them.

That’s odd to have an issue like that in the Bergara Premier Series.

If upward pressure on the magazine catch helps, you might see if there is an adjustment to the mag catch to seat the mag higher?

What cartridge is it in?

I’d call Bergara support and see if there’s an adjustment you can make.
