You and me both. I like compact guns, and that format is perfect for 300 BLK.
A similar rifle that is available now is the CVA Cascade SB (short barrel)–they have it in 300 BLK with a 16" barrel. CVA uses same barrels as Bergara, but it is not Remington 700 compatible like the B-14 series.
I do like that they made the fore end a bit smaller too on the Stoke, to keep it proportional as they shrunk it down. Looks great.
Just ordered the Cascade SB in 300 BO, rings and scope. I like that it comes factory cerakoted, threaded and takes a remington style trigger. Hard to beat for $600. The Stoke will do well, but it is 50% higher and I don’t believe cerakoted.
I wanted the Scout after watching Jim’s vid, but if you can find them they are now $500+
