I was going to buy an Athlon Helos BTR GEN 2 4-20x50 scope. But I just got the oppurtuninty to buy this scope Vortex Strike Eagle 5-25x56 FFP EBR-7C MOA Riflescope SE-52503 for 50% off. Normally it is $1,150. I can get it for $575. What would you guys do? Please let me know ASAP though. I only have like another hour or so to decide.
Those scopes are pretty equivalent in quality. The Vortex (like most of their scopes) is overpriced for what it is normally, but that’s a good price.
I have the Athlon btr gen 2 4-20 on my new Seekins ph3. I really like it, especially for the price. Hard to beat at its price point imo.
The strike eagle range is pretty over priced, and really not that great (this is coming from a vortex fan). I’d either go with the Athlon or go up to the Viper line.
Not sure how much you’re willing to spend but I just bought a Viper PST Gen 2 for 650 from midway.

Im a Vortex fan. I have the Viper Hd 3-15x44 great glass lightweight scope.
If i had longer shots to take id get the Viper Hd 5-25x50
Buy it. I now have 3 and the Strike Eagle 5-25 x 56 is one of the best scopes I have ever owned, and there have been a lot of them. Great Optics, Good Reticle, illuminated and tracks perfectly. You will really like it.
