Looking at getting a good quality tripod with ball mount for Browning X-Bolt Max LR 300 Win Mag.
Reviews online say it is good and can handle the weapon system easily. The weight difference between the aluminum and carbon fiber is pretty small, but the $120 difference is big time no go for me. Options on the BOG look good,
I think it is better than what Vortex just came out with too.
Anyone actually using this tripod and has 1st hand knowledge of pro’s and con’s?
I have several Bogs. Two of the Carbon Fiber. You will probably want to change the ball mount because the one that comes with it sucks. You can get Ball mounts on Amazon that are better that you can switch out.

Yes but it sucks. That is why I replace the ball mount.
