I just got this bad boy… everything went smoothly except the bolt. Had a hell of a time getting it back in. Had to hold down the bolt-catch and pull the trigger to get it to slide in smoothly.
She’s a beauty though. Just need to mount the scope.
What is the stock you chose? Is that prairie hunter in nutmeg laminate? Or platinum?

Yeah, savage has the WORST system for inserting and removing the bolt.
