Anyone know of a good career move in the outdoor, hunting/fishing world? Seems like a career path I would love to take.
Seems like most of the job opportunities in this industry are in marketing or engineering. What job skills do you have? What’s your background?
I have an EHS education back round. Though looking at a way to pursue a passion in the outdoors and related fields.
I thought maybe there would people on this forum that could share their experiences in the world of guns, hunting, conservation etc
I think being a game warden sounds amazing. At least that John Nores guy makes it seem like it is.
Game wardens get to work a lot during hunting and fishing seasons. Might be hard to take vacation times during peak seasons. In our state you start out as part of state police and then apply to specialize as a game warden - they are full state trooper. Some get to go out on the ocean as far as 30-35 miles out checking halibut fishing. Sheriff deputies spend a lot of time out in the woods as do forest service patrols.
