Can we mere mortals get an aftermarket chassis/stock review please?
I’ve been hunting from age 6 to … now and always just ran what came with the rifle. I’ve just now started looking and can’t make heads nor tails of what’s good and what’s not. I’m also cheap lol.
I did order an MDT Field stock to try out since I’ve never heard anything bad about MDT and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg.
I have an Ultradyne chassis and its been great (243). They have pretty nice options, but the barebones chassis is very affordable and it is ARCA ready. I needed to find a reliable chassis that was under $500 and the Ultradyne seemed to be the only one that hit both marks. The Ultimate Reloader guys like it a lot and use them in many of their builds.
