Hello everyone. I am currently in the middle of a 7prc build. I am trying to figure out what might be the best stock. I will be primary using the gun to hunt with but plan on spending some good time behind it at the range.
I am currently looking at the MDT HNT 26 and the MDT CRBN. and before I go any further, I do know that MDT currently is not offering this in the long action. However, rumor has it that they will soon.
That being said I have watched numerous reviews of both. I am looking for hands on experience with both. Can you help?
I’m also up for more suggestions for stocks that will work well for this.
Both are great options. I’m a little negative on the HNT26 right now because it crapped out on me during my hunt last month, but it’s a beautiful chassis. Can’t go wrong with either but I’d lean to the chassis. I like the better shooting experience of a chassis.
Hey Jim can you explain what you mean about the difference between a stock and a chassis. I love the look of the the crbn and I’m pretty keen to get one. It has an arca rail and an adjustable check riser so I’m unsure of the practical differences between that and a chassis would be. Are chassis more rigid? Thanks
