Christianson arms evoke

After watching the 2024 shot show I am very intrigued by the new Evoke coming out this year. I was thinking about getting it in 7 PRC. The only thing that worries me is all the most recent reviews I see and hear about C.A. and how their quality control has gone down hill. I was just wondering if you have any insight on whether or not they have fixed these issues lately or if they are still having issues.

I have not had good experiences with Christensen. At all. Christensen said they’ll be sending me the Evole for review in March or April so I’m very interested to see what they have created, but I am skeptical of quality control.

The president of our Shooting Club and a gun shop owner warned me off of CA because of quality issues. He has sent many back, multiple times. I went Proof Research and have had no regrets.

I had totally the opposite experience. I was warned off of Savage by three different gunshop owners. They recommended CA. BTW, I did not purchase my CA rifles from any of them. I have three CA so far. And the new Evoke has piqued my interest, so has the new Savage ultra lite elite, Berretta BRX1, and Ruger American Gen II Standard. As of right now, I am inclining toward the BRX1 and maybe get Evoke later.

On another thread I asked between Ruger American Gen II Predator vs. CA Evok variation I which one to chose from? I am able to get the Evok for the same price (actually for $30 more than the Ruger MSRP) which one should I get. I just watched a Youtube video, a guy put together a Ruger American gen II plus a Leupold scope and rings for under $1000 and he was able to go all the way to 1000 yards with it. I have been looking around for the predator but have not been able to find the Gen II predator. a few shops have predators but it doesn’t say “gen II.” I am holding off till becomes readily available. Amazingly enough, looking at the Ruger’s website, Gen II predator just about comes with any caliber under the sun.
