Compact binoculars

I’m looking at getting some compact binoculars (10x32)
What is everyone’s recommendation for under $300

vortex diamondback HD. List $270 but probably closer to $225 or so.

I’ll second diamondbacks. I don’t have broad experience with different binoculars, but with the vortex warranty you don’t have to worry about them breaking and then having to buy new ones. They pop up on facebook marketplace in good shape all the time, but you can usually find a good deal on black Friday if you don’t have a pair by then.

I’m also going to promote the Diamondback HD. I went with the 15x56 which are a little more expensive at 350 when I bought them and this will be my third year with them. I have no reason to upgrade and the quality and clarity has been fantastic. They’ve been through every type of weather and have never had an issue.

I compared the Leupold BX2 to the Vortex and I personally preferred the Leupold for sharpness and color but they were so close in quality to be near twins.

I currently have the primary arms glx and they’re surprisingly good for the money. I don’t have the Leupold anymore to directly compare them so I don’t know which is better, but I think if I were buying new today, I’d probably go with the primary arms.

I have a set of the leupolds in a full size binocular and love them but they do not make the smaller more compact ones that I am wanting unless you spend more money on the bx-4’s
