Congratulations Jim!

Jim, congratulations on your first product offering! Hats off to you and your team for the extensive R&D. Hoping to see a pad for the Paramount Pro muzzle loader in the future. The Grayboe stock pad isn’t terrible but Id like to give your pad a shot, literally.

Thank you! It’s been a loooong road to get here but I’m thrilled with the result.

Jim,

I love that you used engineered part anatomy with a composite rubber structure. It is the correct way to build an isolator. Hats off in putting this into a butt stock. Your data gathering was very interesting as well.

Are you able to post in here some of the results that you saw vs some of the brands/competitors out there? I know you can’t do that on YouTube. I have been considering getting a limb saver recoil pad for one of my rifles, but now I might have to change my decision.

Jim, does the bergara version work with the HMR stock?

Yes. All Bergara Rifles will be covered.

We are wanting to do that in the future but honestly it takes a lot of learning to really read a recoil signature. Sometimes a graph can look nice but actually be terrible unless you really know what’s going on.

For example, sometimes a graph looks super short and it can make you think it was great. But in reality, it was short because it punched the shoulder hard and fast, which pushed the shoulder back right away. When the shoulder goes back, then the pressure drops a lot.

So in that case you really need both the pressure sensor and the BBT to really understand what happened.

So I can post graphs but many of them would lead people to the totally wrong conclusions.

Jim, is there a slip on version available?

Jim, I currently use a limbsaver on my rifle, comparatively speaking is your pad shorter, equal or longer than the Limbsaver. Im looking to conserve a shorter OAL of the rifle. Thanks.

We aren’t planning to do a slip on. We think over the next year we can have a pad for just about every factory rifle produced in the last 10 years. That way it’ll be a perfect fit.

We are just under an inch, so you probably wouldn’t get a shorter length of pull.
