Connection for Bipood

I put an MDT GRND-POD onto my Tikka Ace Game 300 win mag with an ARCA attachment. The thing was falling off the rifle consistantly after 10 or so shots. I was not able to tighten it up sufficiently to keep this from happening.

I went to Lowes & got some 10-32 screws so that I could use an Allen wrench to tighten it instead of my fingers. I also put some blue loctite on it & it did work much better. However, it has fallen off once since these changes.

I called MDT to see if I could purchase the M-LOK connector for my bipod, they don’t sell just the connector, have to buy another bipod.

Before I do that, anyone have any issues with using hte M-LOK connector in this scenario?

Anyone have a better solution for my ARCA connection / falling off issue?

Could you switch to a picatinny attachment? Or would that present the same problem potentially?

my friend has notched his arca rail, and tightens the set screw so that it’s in the notch, he hasn’t had any problems since as it doesn’t allow movement forward or aft
