Question for those who have done a guided hunt. What would be the appropriate amount to tip our guide? Got 2 cow tags and we are hunting 4 days and staying n their lodge. Should I tip all at the end or daily? Thank you!
Tip at the end of the trip, give it to them personally. Percentage wise, I’ve usually done 15% average, but if they’re numbs maybe 10% and if they really earn it 20%+.
I personally always base tipping on effort. With hunting & fishing I think you have to be careful & not base it on the success of the trip, unless there is obvious incompetency.
I do 10-20% based on how good of a job they do for me. Also, I hate the tipping system
