Coyote help

Guys, need some help. For 2 years I have been trying to eliminate a coyote in the hills be kind my house. He is killing the deer, chickens, and small pets. This morning I woke up to find him 15 yards from my porch with my heeler running laps around him. By the time I got my rifle he was gone. We have 400 acres behind us that is huntable. He came and left from the south. Any ideas on how to bring him in to eliminate the threat?

Put out some bait. Could try calling or hunt them with dogs are some ideas

Have you tried calling? Are thermals legal?

Tried calling him in tonight with no luck. Utah says no thermals until after December. I am going to try and call him in again tomorrow morning.

I got him on the camera this morning. I think he has the deer hiding by my truck. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: not a joke I had my 3D target set up right where the deer is laying yesterday.

I can’t remember where I bought it but I have a live trap that has a separate cage inside to place a small chicken or rabbit or whatever. Maybe tractor supply.
I have used it with some success for coyotes that are weary of the call, but I’ve shot most coyotes in the act of getting into the hen house.
