Saw Jim’s video from 3 years ago on rangefinders…Is the Leupold 1600i still the best option for a sub $500 rangefinder? Anyone else have a better option?
I have a few under $500 and I think I’m liking the Maven one best.

Well, mine is a couple of hundreds more, A Vortex 4000. I Also have a Sig Sauer BDX which I picked up on sale foe an extra $300 more.
I’d try to find a discounted Leica personally. I got my handheld Leica for $400 when they were clearing that model out (CRF 2000) but I have a set of Leica Geovid Pro Bono’s I bought last year to “replace” the handheld that a backup and sits in the golf bag now.
