Discovery optics

I have Leupold, vortex, Burris, and QuigleyFord scopes. I’m trying a new optic very budget friendly I bought a Discovery LHD scope and wondering if anybody has used them before and their experience with them? I’m gonna start it on my Ruger American Gowild 300 win mag and my BOHICA 50bmg.

Good luck, I don’t know anything about Discovery, YouTuber “Who Tee Who” has had them on some guns and seems to like the clarity. I’ll look for a review at some poinr

I run a DISCOVERYOPT ED-PRS GENⅡ 5-25X56 on my PRS 22 rig so that I could stay in the production class and have had very good luck with it. No complaints whatsoever! There are better scopes on the market but bang for the buck is absolutely unbeatable.

I am running the ED 5-25x56 on my 6.5 Creedmoor Ruger Precision. Being new to long range shooting and the idea of good optics, it is great for me. I am hesitant to spend $2-4000 on an optic when I cannot tell the difference. Unless I was a true competitor I cannot see myself spending that kind of money.

If you find yourself in the market for one of those $2-4000 optics is to buy them either on sale, deeply discounted or when the next generation comes along and retailers try to dump the old inventory.

I wish in the market for a zero compromise optic and those never go on sale

Chinese made options like Discovery, Arken, and a host of others, exist for folks who want to be able to afford to get into the sport. They are okay and often even punch above their price tag. But if you can afford something nicer from Leupold, Burris, etc. then that is certainly the way to go. A Mark 4HD or 5HD is another planet compared to these. I have not tried discovery but I have an Arken, and a Hawke, affordable options made in China. They are okay. I’m not going to pretend they stand up to a Mark 5HD, but I mean considering what you pay it’s pretty impressive.
