It looked like a very interesting process which should more precise. I’ll be watching to see what the users of the barrels say.
Sounds interesting. I can’t really say how it’d compare to other barrels that are single point cut. Would like to try it.
Given that it’s essentially a non-contact, stress-free method, it should be at least as good. I’m not sure how it would be better, other than perhaps being faster (and it might be slower), and it should avoid having issues with dull cutting tools (and I’d be surprised if any of the high-end single-point cut barrel makers aren’t watching their cutting heads very closely).
