Jim what is the best electronic powder dispenser for around $500 my charge master light desired to quit on me today and I’ve decided to upgrade. Is the Hornady still the best for the money or has something new came out since you made your powder dispenser video?
I still think it’s the Hornady in that price point. Good machine.
@backfire , using the Hornady (or any other dispenser), do you still verify weight with a scale? Sorry, its been a few months since I went through the course - need to do it again next week.

When you get your digital scale, keep your cell phone away from it!
The other day I plugged in and turned on my RCBS. It’s then supposed to warm up for 15 to 20 minutes before using it. While it was warming up I got on my cell phone and started looking it YouTube videos and surfing the web. Something caught my eye and I looked up and the scale was climbing from zero all the way up to 1.6 grain then back down again, then back up again. Shut down the phone and it went back to zero. I’ve done some internet searching and I’m certainly not the only person to report this. And it’s not specific to my model either.
I’ve seen similar reports from things like fluorescent light bulbs, radios, and other electronic equipment.

The Hornady has its own scale that you can calibrate with a weight so you know you can trust it’s correct.
