Hey Jim just got done watching your new video about the Bergara premiere actions and I love that they are doing this!! Have you heard any word about tikka maybe following Bergara lead on this? I have put together several tikkas of my on and for other people and I love them but it would be so nice and probably a little cheaper if they would sell just the action.

Agreed. If we could buy a tikka action for like $500-600 that would be incredible.

Yeah, I’ve begged Tikka to sell component actions. They are part of a a 500-year-old company. Actually, the oldest manufacturing company in the world. What does that mean? It means they move sloooooowly. I mean, they still don’t even have a 7 prc!
I bet they could sell it at the same profit margin as the full T3x if they sold just the action for $400.
It would completely change the market.

I was totally excited to see your video on the Bergara actions. My first thought was a custom 6.8 Western. I have to say though, I am loving my Tikka Roughtech. It would be awesome if Tikka would sell component actions, especially with so many options already for prefit barrels.

Hey Jim, I would like to see a video comparing an aero solus barreled action vs a bergara barreled action. @backfire
The solus has been available for a while and I’ve heard very good things. It looks like you can get the barreled action for about $1k

Jim do you know if anyone is making shouldered prefit barrels for the premier action or will you have to use a variable shoulder with a barrel nut?
I got one with a barrel nut from Oregon Mountain Rifles. Don’t know of any shouldered.
Ok that’s kind some why i like the tikka’s more I just think the shouldered barrels look better
